Hate speech detection model
- Headed 2 engineering teams of 15+ people driving long-term strategy, quarterly roadmaps, delivery milestones, customer outreach, and product development to build ML tools for podcast content understanding tasks
- Led development of an ML classification model to detect hate speech in 80% of podcasts on platform to improve content moderation coverage, enable automation of human review flows, and reduce Trust & Safety risks
On-device podcast transcriptions
- Led development of an on-device podcast transcription service ready for rollout within 1 quarter to increase transcription coverage Spotify’s podcast catalog by 6% and enable multiple downstream ML client teams
- Led hack project development for a feature for users to share a transcript audio snippet of a podcast on social media
